Your new company A stable insurer is looking for a well-rounded Head of Compliance to oversee all aspects of compliance and act as the KPIC.
Your new role
Lead and manage the Compliance function, including a small team of professionals.
Act as the KPIC under the Insurance Authority's Fit and Proper Guidelines.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Insurance Authority and other relevant bodies.
Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, managing inspections, reporting, and correspondence.
Provides strategic compliance advice to senior management and business units.
Oversee the FCC framework, including AML/CFT policies, transaction monitoring, and suspicious transaction reporting.
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline;
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CAMS) are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance within the insurance or financial services industry, with strong exposure to both regulatory compliance and FCC.
- Proven experience in dealing with regulators and acting as KPIC or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
