Fixed Income Sales, Director

Role:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, private banks, and other international institutional clients.
• Distribute a broad range of fixed income products including Chinese government bonds, policy bank bonds, corporate credit, offshore RMB bonds, and structured products.
• Work closely with trading desks to provide market colour, trade ideas, and execution support.
• Identify client needs and deliver tailored investment solutions aligned with market trends and risk appetite.
• Collaborate with internal teams including research, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless client service and onboarding.
• Monitor market developments and provide timely updates and insights to clients.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the firm's international sales platform and cross-border initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in fixed income sales, preferably with exposure to both onshore and offshore markets.
• Proven track record of managing and growing hedge fund and international institutional client relationships.
• Strong understanding of Chinese and global fixed income markets, regulatory frameworks, and trading practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
