Our client is large scale technology company that has a growing portfolio of subsidiaries in Hong Kong and China. With an enviable record of success, they are now further expanding their technology team and looking for a Senior Cloud Architect.
About the Role
Reporting to the department head, you will shape and implement cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals, collaborating with end users as well as infrastructure and operations teams to advance cloud adoption. You will partner with application teams to design and deliver architecture‑compliant solutions tailored to specific business use cases using cutting‑edge cloud technologies, fostering innovation and adherence to best practices. You will champion cultural change and promote cloud adoption best practices across the organization, developing and maintaining cloud design patterns and standardized deployment blueprints for AWS, GCP, and Azure. Working with the enterprise architecture team, you will ensure governance and compliance for cloud‑based applications. You will lead a small team to create and refine technical patterns that standardize GCP service deployments.
The Successful Applicants
- Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science Engineering, or related discipline
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience required with multiple years of experience working across large, complex organisations to define the Enterprise Architecture
- Previous experience with public cloud architecture, Cloud strategy etc (Azure Cloud/AWS Cloud/Alicloud/Google)
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across business units
- Proven ability to engage and empower cross-functional architectural teams.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks, including knowledge of CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP tools, cloud IAM, and native security features for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting production environments within AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
- Good command in Chinese and English
