Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed research on publicly traded companies in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop actionable investment ideas, perform initial due diligence, create comprehensive question lists, and host interviews with industry experts and executives to gather deeper insights.
  • Lead discussions with industry specialists to extract high-value, actionable insights for research purposes.
  • Present research findings to clients, build strong relationships, and collaborate with internal account management and sales teams to broaden the impact of your work and enhance your personal brand.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with senior industry executives, perform in-depth analysis of industries and companies, identify unique non-consensus views, and create a robust content pipeline.
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in researching Australian/New Zealand stocks in sell-side, buy-side, management consulting, or other investment research-related positions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting equity research or the ability to perform detailed fundamental, bottom-up research.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively engage with experts and drive research initiatives.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a proven ability to achieve results through teamwork.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
