Associate/AVP – Operational Risk, Risk Management Department
Job Responsibilities:
1. Take lead in design and implementation of operational risk management framework and policy;
2. Organize annual review and facilitation of RCSA, KRI and LDC with various internal stakeholders and responsible for the operational risk incident reporting in house ops risk system;
3. Responsible for routine and/or adhoc operational risk reports, checking, surveillance to Head of Risk and/or Management;
4. Participate in on-going product on-boarding approval to New Business and Product Committee with close working from Product Desk;
5. Provide effective recommendation and guidance and risk awareness on operational risk framework;
6. Facilitate effective and act as first point of contact from operational matter with Headquarter;
7. Perform any report tasks or adhoc submission request to Senior Management and/or Headquarter and other duties as assigned by the Head of Risk Management.
Requirements:
1. Degree holder or above with major in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, related discipline;
2. At least 5 years hands-on operational risk management experience gained from investment bank, securities brokerage;
3. Individuals with less experience can be considered for an Associate level position;
4. Eager with ability and self-discipline to meet the sometimes tight schedule of various risk reports preparation;
5. Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
