Your new company You will be joining a corporate bank, operating regionally in Greater China, that is part of a well-established financial group. The bank holds a full banking licence and serves both retail and institutional clients across the region.
Your new role As a Credit Policy Specialist, you'll be responsible for designing, refining, and maintaining the bank's credit policy framework. Your mission is to ensure sound credit governance, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with the bank's strategic risk appetite.
- Develop and enhance the bank's credit policy framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Provide guidance and approval on credit proposals, balancing business growth with sound risk management.
- Partner with business and risk teams to align credit policy with the bank's strategic objectives and risk appetite.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend policy adjustments based on market, regulatory, and operational trends.
- Contribute to policy training and communication, ensuring frontline and risk teams are aligned with updated standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Solid experience in credit policy development, credit risk, or lending approvals within a bank or regulated financial institution.
Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk appetite frameworks, and governance processes.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
