Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented APAC Equities Sales and Trading Assistant to work in a dynamic and rewarding position. Job Scope:
- Deliver essential administrative and operational support for agency trading in global markets, ensuring seamless execution and efficiency
- Track and monitor P&L across equity businesses, providing insights that fuel strategic decisions
- Coordinate logistics and client engagements of Corporate Access events such as corporate roadshows, analyst conference calls, and industry expert events
- Create and distribute compelling daily marketing materials, research notes, presentations, and translations to engage clients and partners
- Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and enhancing business architecture for long-term growth
- Excel in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple demands in a high-energy, fast-paced setting
Qualification, Capabilities and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance Operations or Trading Assistant roles - Bachelors degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the global equities business ecosystem and key processes
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both external clients and internal partners
- Sharp analytical, problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Eagerness to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices
- Adaptable mindset, comfortable in Client-facing interactions while handling routine tasks with precision
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and pivot tables) and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Fluency or conversational proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
