Job Title: Business Analyst in Data - Asset Management (Contract)

Contract: 6 months (Freelance Consultant Contract - No Employee Benefits/Package)
Pay: 90-98k HKD Per Month
About the Role
We are seeking a Data-focused Business Analyst with strong asset management experience to join our consulting client on a 6-month contract, supporting a major banking client. This role will play a key part in delivering data initiatives within the private equity and alternative funds space.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to capture, analyse, and document data requirements.
- Work on data-driven projects focused on private equity and alternative funds.
- Support data quality, data mapping, and data governance activities.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements for technical teams.
- Collaborate with project managers, data architects, and SMEs to deliver successful outcomes.
- Assist in identifying gaps in current data processes and recommend improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on data.
- Background in asset management, specifically within private equity or alternative funds.
- Ability to work with complex data sets and translate requirements into clear deliverables.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
- Previous experience within large financial institutions is highly desirable.
