Information Security Specialist

Role Summary: * Seeking a skilled Information Security professional to join our team. * The candidate will focus on policy development, vulnerability management, incident response, and SOC analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development:

    • Formulate and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines.

    • Ensure all practices align with industry regulations and best practices.

  • Vulnerability Management:

    • Conduct routine assessments to identify potential weaknesses in systems and applications.

    • Collaborate with IT teams to address identified vulnerabilities.

    • Develop and uphold vulnerability management protocols.

  • Incident Response:

    • Engage in technical response activities during security incidents.

    • Create and maintain incident response plans and documentation.

    • Analyze incidents post-event and compile lessons learned.

    • Educate staff through training sessions on incident handling best practices.

  • SOC Analyst Responsibilities:

    • Monitor security events and incidents using various security tools, including SIEM.

    • Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly.

    • Conduct threat hunting to identify potential security breaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as computer science, information systems, or related disciplines.

  • Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.

  • 2-5 years of experience in information security within a dynamic, multi-site enterprise environment.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of threat management and incident handling processes.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
