Your new role
- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations
- Manage vendor payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and supporting documents
- Assist in month-end closing and preparation of basic financial reports
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors in Hong Kong and Mainland China to resolve billing and payment issues
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and local regulations
- Support internal audits and provide documentation as needed
- Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Manager
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a commercial setting
- Professional fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and English, both written and spoken
- Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting standards and basic tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
