About the role:
Our client, a reputable financial institution, is looking for an IT Support specialising in Windows server support.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as first line of contact for technical support for Windows hardware, software and networking-related issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems across various systems and applications
- Document standard procedures and contribute to the development of a comprehensive knowledge base
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems across various systems and applications
- Provide operational support for Windows OS, VMware platforms, and backup solutions
- Assist in coordinating and implementing IT projects
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of proven experience in Windows system support
- Solid understanding of virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware
- Familiarity with storage systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Self-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality service
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
