About the role: Our client, a reputable financial institution, is looking for an IT Support specialising in Windows server support.
Your Responsibilities:
Act as first line of contact for technical support for Windows hardware, software and networking-related issues
Troubleshoot and resolve problems across various systems and applications
Document standard procedures and contribute to the development of a comprehensive knowledge base
Troubleshoot and resolve problems across various systems and applications
Provide operational support for Windows OS, VMware platforms, and backup solutions
Assist in coordinating and implementing IT projects
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3-5 years of proven experience in Windows system support
Solid understanding of virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware
Familiarity with storage systems and networking fundamentals
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure cloud services
Self-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality service
