My client, a Western bank, is currently looking for a Corporate Banking Senior Relationship Manager (Commodities sector) to join the company.
Your new role
- This role will require the applicant to relocate to Hong Kong, possibly spending half of the time in HK and half of the time in Singapore
- To achieve agreed individual financial and non-financial targets by acquiring, growing and retaining profitable corporate banking customers within the Commodities sector
- Full hunter role to acquire new clients in the Commodities sector, specifically upstream clients who are the Producers, NOT the traders type of business in the SEA region
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in corporate banking
- Strong track record in new-to-bank commodity client acquisitions
- Excellent financial analysis skills and ability to assess client creditworthiness and key risk considerations / mitigations
- Sound product knowledge of trade finance, cash management and transaction banking
- Strong understanding of the commodities' industry, supply/value chains and market environment
- Ability to adapt well and be open to new challenges
