Our client, a leading financial services company in Hong Kong, is at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge AI and generative AI technologies to drive innovation in the financial sector. They are looking for an AI Engineer with solid experience to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions, with a focus on chatbots and generative AI models. The role involves addressing complex business challenges in the financial services industry by creating scalable, innovative AI systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AI, machine learning (ML), and generative models, with specific expertise in natural language processing (NLP) for conversational AI. This is a new role with an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for renewal based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Develop and maintain AI models, including chatbots for conversational tasks and generative AI models for content creation or data augmentation.
- Design and deploy generative AI solutions to address financial services use cases, such as automated report generation or customer support.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to train and fine-tune AI models using relevant datasets.
- Deploy AI models into production environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to align AI solutions with business objectives.
- Optimize models for performance, latency, and resource efficiency in cloud or on-premise environments.
- Monitor model performance in production, retraining and fine-tuning models as needed to maintain accuracy and relevance.
Requirements of the Role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in AI engineering or software development, with experience focused on chatbot development or generative AI projects.
- Proficiency in Python (required) and experience with AI/ML libraries.
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying chatbots.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
