Job Summary:
To lead and deliver strategic network projects and architectural initiatives that ensure the infrastructure remains high-performance, secure, and future-proof. This VP role is a critical investment in quality and leadership, enabling the organization to meet growing demands without expanding headcount.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact network initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals
  • Define and evolve the enterprise network architecture, incorporating automation, security, and scalability
  • Allocate resources effectively across concurrent strategic projects
  • Ensure architectural decisions align with IT governance, cybersecurity controls, and operational standards
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership, address concerns, and ensure transparency in project execution
  • Manage the procurement process for the projects including the collection of network requirements, preparation of documents for tendering, proposal evaluation, contract, compliances and approval
  • Effectively manage budgets for projects and new initiatives as well as expenditure control
  • Effectively identify, assess and manage IT risks of network projects
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Drive enhancement in documentation for the project deliverables, like IT assets, configurations, network diagrams, procedures and expectations
  • Keep the teams abreast of emerging network technologies and best practices. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements in network infrastructure and operations
  • Drive the development and enforcement of network architecture and design standards, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise-wide technology strategies. Lead governance efforts to validate architectural decisions and promote best practices across all infrastructure projects.
Requirements
  • University degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience supporting IT network projects, with at least 5 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISA are highly preferred
  • Proven experience in network architecture and strategic project delivery
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced network technologies, including ACI, VxLAN, SDWAN, cloud networking, and network security solutions
  • Demonstrated success in leading mission-critical network projects, encompassing design, testing, upgrades, migrations, and automation of network operations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders in large organizations
  • Proven ability to unify and lead teams with diverse skill sets, fostering motivation and inspiration
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a strong focus on delivering results
  • Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Ansible, SolarWinds, JIRA, Confluence
