Your new role - Manage daily accounting operations including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist the CFO/Founder with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and analysis
- Help implement and improve internal controls and accounting systems
- Participate in ad-hoc projects
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (startup or multicultural SME experience is a plus)
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
- Willing to go the extra mile - including occasional night calls with the US team
