Service Line Overview Quality & Risk Management (QRM) at KPMG China is a dedicated group of professionals who provide guidance and support to help our professionals achieve the highest standards of quality, ethics and integrity.
Key Responsibilities - Support the Ethics and Independence Partner on personal compliance related initiatives and projects relating to the firm's system of quality management related to ethics and independence
- Assist to coordinate and roll out the firm's personal compliance audit program with the support of a small team of junior staff
- Assist to develop training materials/guidance/tools to drive personal compliance
- Support the preparation for external inspections
Experience & Background - Currently manager level
- Working experience on audit, internal audit or internal controls is preferred
- Good knowledge of global KPMG independence policies (i.e. IESBA)
- Team player who is capable of working with partners and teams from various backgrounds within the China firm
- Strong attention to details with critical thinking abilities, along with the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Self-motivated, passionate and enjoy problem solving
- Enjoys working in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua)
- HKICPA/CICPA or equivalent qualification is an asset but not mandatory
