Research Associate, Investment Team (Asia Tech and Native Taiwanese preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• • Support the Investment Team with macroeconomic, sectoral, and company-specific research, with a focus on Asia Tech.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and fundamental analysis of companies, including detailed financial statement reviews.
  • Identify market trends, develop actionable insights, and generate high-conviction investment ideas.
  • Prepare concise research reports and build robust financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Attend industry conferences and conduct onsite meetings with company management across Asia as needed.

Requirements

• • Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to Asia Tech.
  • Strong expertise in ASEAN and Greater China equity research and investment.
  • Demonstrated ability in stock selection and financial modeling.
  • Excellent academic track record, with notable achievements beyond academics.
  • Preferred: Native Taiwanese with fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian languages is a plus.
  • CFA charter holder or currently enrolled in the CFA program.
  • Proficient in Bloomberg, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
  • Genuine passion for investment and continuous learning in the tech sector.
