Position Description
The Sales Trader will play an instrumental role in the development of business relationships and maximization of revenues from institutional accounts and hedge funds. The Sales Trader should be equipped to develop a strong knowledge of client needs and requirements and coordinate efforts to service client organizations efficiently. It typically involves working closely with the sales team, updating on market news, events and themes as well as advising clients on trading strategies & solutions to achieve best execution.
The role will require the ability to work closely with our HK sales trading team, sales & research as well as cross-sell within the group in order to leverage product penetration and revenue.
Responsibilities
To develop a highly performant client base by:

- Discussing trading strategies, market intelligence & market flow trends
- Cultivating a strong client working relationship on assigned account coverages
- Performing accurate execution in a timely manner
- Client origination and able to identify opportunities for business growth
- Identify revenue opportunities in existing client base
- Prepare updates on news and market events for clients and team members frequently.
Requirements

- Bachelors degree or above in a related field or discipline
- Minimum 3 years of trading experience (ideally from a dynamic trading desk)
- Entrepreneurial focused individual with a “client-service†driven mentality
- Strong communication skills
- Good understanding of the front to back process flow
- Familiar with risk associated with sales trading role
- Strong command of English and Mandarin
