Hedge Fund Portfolio Risk Analyst - Top-tier Hedge Fund

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily risk limits monitoring and promptly alert portfolio managers and senior management when thresholds are approached or breached
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing portfolio risk exposures across multiple asset classes
• Support the development and enhancement of quantitative risk models and analytics tools
• Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for portfolio managers and senior management
• Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and performance attribution
• Collaborate with investment and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely risk data
• Perform reconciliation between internal system and fund administrator valuation report
• Contribute to ad-hoc research projects and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Risk Management or a related quantitative discipline
• 0-2 year of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, SQL, or similar) is an advantage
• CFA or FRM Level I preferred but not mandatory
• Strong quantitative analysis skills with high numerical sensitivity and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive “can-do” attitude with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
