Your key responsibilities: This role is instrumental to business as the candidate will facilitate the continued growth of the private bank platform by having the following job responsibilities:
- Work closely with Head of Business Management on executing and monitoring sales strategies, coverage team performance, cost control and review mechanisms, operational frameworks, approval structure and other general management initiatives for the team.
- Strong focus on operational management and efficiency enhancement, sales management, and pipeline management
- Assist frontline staff in relation to their compliance level on internal policies/guidelines, sales processes, training, client management and operational matters.
- Prepare management information for senior management and marketing team heads on staff performance related to sales trackers, operational risk awareness, compliance with regulations and DB policy etc.
- Work with Finance on updating and distributing scorecards for frontline staff, monitoring KPI trackers, reviewing expenses and travels, budgeting, and target setting, as well as other financial management issues.
- Support Head of Business Management in other related initiatives.
Your skills and experience: - Ideally the candidate would be a university graduate with 5-8 years of experience in the private banking or retail banking industry with previous experience in service assistant / middle office / business management roles in a reputable organization. Knowledge on investment products and processes, and familiarity with the banking practices and regulatory requirements of Hong Kong would be desired.
- Self-starter with strong people skills. Good collaborator and be able to work independently.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative-taking and open-minded person to accept new tasks/changes within the business.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese; also, preferably with at least intermediate fluency in Mandarin
- Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Experience with MS Access and MS365 Copilot would be highly desired.
