The Investment Strategist will join the Global Investment Strategy Team. That team is responsible for coordinating, developing and delivering the house view to the entire Private Bank division.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Assist the Global and Asian Chief Investment Office/Strategy in the development of quantitative and qualitative research to build the CIO View" of the Private Bank with a focus on Asian markets.
  • Contribution to daily and weekly publications to convey investment strategy and CIO View".
  • Analyst must be able to research and understand a wide range of asset classes that include equities (Asian markets, sectors, international, developed and emerging markets), fixed income (sectors), commodities and alternatives.
  • Assist in the creation, monitoring and articulation of proprietary high conviction ideas across all asset classes with a focus on Asia. High conviction ideas should be supported by and consistent with the CIO view, fundamentals and technical.
Your skills and experience:
  • Advanced degree in Economics (Macro Economics/International Economics)/ individuals with CFA qualifications preferred
  • 4-8 years of relevant work experience in investment management related fields, especially in Capital Markets and Strategy.
  • Working knowledge of data tools such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
  • The ability to consume" state of the art financial market research and communicate findings.
  • Familiarity with on-line research data providers (IMF, OECD, Central banks etc.).
  • The ability to monitor the drivers of performance for each asset class ranging from equities to bonds to alternatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly writing skills (English)
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to deadlines and strong attention to details.
  • Self-motivated and working well creating individualistic research.
  • An avid reader of financial periodicals such as FT, Economist etc. to complement internal research.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • A team player.
