Our client is a Hong Kong based family office with an institutional approach in investments. They significant capital and an excellent track record of returns despite recent market volatility.
They are active across Equities, Credit, Funds Investments and Private investments and with a decent sized investment team and an international mindset.
This role is central to the firms investment process, providing best-in-class trade execution, market insight, and hedging structuring support to the CIO, Portfolio Managers (PMs), and both Equity and Credit Investment Analysts.
The ideal candidate will have deep global market experience, technical fluency, and the ability to manage execution risk and transaction costs in real time.
The Trading Analyst will not own a portfolio (“no bookâ€), but will be given execution discretion, including the ability to trade around existing positions to optimize entry/exit, mitigate risk, and enhance P&L. The role also includes cash and collateral management across multiple brokers and trading venues.

Experience & Expertise
5–10 years of experience as an execution trader in a hedge fund, multi-strategy platform, or institutional asset manager.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in trading global developed market equities and USD-denominated corporate credit (IG/HY).
Strong understanding of market microstructure, transaction cost analysis, and execution technologies.
Experience in derivatives trading and hedging across both equity and credit domains.
Track record of working effectively with PMs, Analysts, and Risk teams in a high-performance environment.
Systems & Tools
Required: Bloomberg Terminal (execution tools, API, CDS monitor, etc.)
Preferred: Experience with Enfusion as an Order Management System (OMS), Portfolio Management System (PMS), and Axioma as risk monitoring platform.
Familiarity with RFQ platforms (e.g., MarketAxess, Trumid), EMS (e.g., FlexTrade, Portware), and other execution analytics tools.
Proficiency in Excel; Python or SQL skills a plus for internal tool development and data analysis.
