Main Responsibilities:
  • To support senior management to develop and implement strategies for the corporate banking business to maximize revenue while aligning with corporate objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships to achieve specific profitability targets
  • ⁠Maintain and enhance existing business relationships, ensuring high professional standards in banking services to maximize potential and minimize risk
  • Lead, coach, and develop junior members of the team , ensuring high performance and optimal realization of their potential
  • Provide support, advice, and recommendations on credit facilities based on market trends
  • ⁠Oversee activities, procedures, and administrative policies to align with corporate objectives
  • ⁠Monitor and manage risks, ensure compliance with group and local regulatory policies (e.g., KYC, AML), and contribute to the development of the risk management framework
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners (e.g., risk, operations, product teams) and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional accounting/finance qualifications are preferred
  • ⁠A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience with strong marketing acumen with up-to-date knowledge in business development, particularly in local and cross-border markets
  • ⁠Excellent analytical and credit assessment skills to evaluate data from clients' portfolios and market trends
  • ⁠In-depth understanding of principles, practices, and credit risk management techniques related to Corporate Banking products
  • ⁠Comprehensive knowledge of banking products and services, with the ability to identify opportunities and assess customer needs
  • ⁠Established network across various industries for promoting trade finance and commercial lending activities, with strong interpersonal skills for relationship management
  • ⁠Familiarity with regulatory requirements in both Hong Kong and China, capable of implementing and reviewing internal controls to ensure compliance with the Bank's policies
  • Proven experience in formulating business strategies to meet targets and identify factors affecting implementation
  • ⁠Strong leadership skills to guide the sales team, demonstrating the ability to motivate, develop strategic plans, and manage performance effectively
