The Role
Associate/AVP, Network Engineer, Information Technology
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in overall network and infrastructure architecture planning and operation;
- Conduct research, POC, and implement new technologies with network related;
- BAU and project implementation on production operation;
- Prepare and submit network related change requests, execute production changes, and oversee implementation;
- Perform due diligence investigations on security incidents;
- Real time monitoring in production systems and network components;
- Assist in handling incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting;
- Manage daily IT asset administration for data centers and server rooms;
- Support the operation of data center and server room facilities;
- Implement network infrastructure management based on technical specifications, and security standards;
- Ad-hoc task assignments based on supervisor;
- Provide 24/7 network, data center, and server room monitoring, incident investigation.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field;
- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in IP routing, switching, and QoS;
- Strong technical knowledge of network protocols and internet standards, including DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, QoS, etc;
- Extensive experience with voice gateways (MGCP, SIP, H.323, SCCP, Digital PRI/T1, Analog FXO/FXS) on Cisco 2900/3900/4000 and legacy systems;
- Hands-on experience supporting firewalls, including CheckPoint, Fortigate, and Palo Alto;
- Proven expertise in incident management, service request handling, and troubleshooting;
- Proactive, able to work effectively within a team, and independently without direct supervision;
- Strong problem-solving skills for technical issues;
- Excellent team collaboration skills;
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
