Your new role
- Conduct daily transaction monitoring reviews using internal systems to detect potential suspicious activity
- Analyse customer behaviour, account activity, and transaction patterns to identify red flags
- Escalate and investigate alerts, preparing detailed case narratives and supporting documentation
- Draft and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Risk, Operations) to gather information and resolve cases
- Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk customers and complex relationships
- Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices related to AML and financial crime
What you'll need to succeed
- Require 4-8 years of AML experience in Banking, transaction monitoring experience is a must.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven track record in investigating financial crimes and monitoring money laundering.
- Highly organised, with strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written-fluency is essential for this role.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, with a creative mindset and strong digital literacy
- ECF or CAMS certification is preferred.
