Overview The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management UX team builds digital experiences that help our clients manage their finances and monitor their investments easily on the Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley platforms. The Private Wealth Management Asia & Australia team delivers products for internal clients (e.g. client relationship managers, investment management team, investment financial group, etc.) so they can provide the best services and products for ultra-high net worth clients across Asia and Australia. The PWM tools and applications cover end-to-end client experiences; from onboarding/off-boarding clients, account management and mapping, browsing products, getting insights, portfolio management, order placement, tracking, and approvals, among other things. We are seeking a great designer to join high-functioning team.
Once here you will... - Working closely with the UX lead, help execute the product vision by being involved in every step of the end-to-end product design process
- Understand the underlying needs and motivation of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to our clients
- Craft intuitive and elegant experiences that empower our clients to make confident financial decisions
- Work closely with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIs
- Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organization
- Form holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into our wealth management product ecosystem
- Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful products
- Work closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firm
- Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA compliance
Relevant experience and mindset... - You have an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs
- You spent 4 to 7 years as a UX designer who was a key contributor to the success of products that have launched
- You have a bachelor's degree in design or related field preferably, master's degree a plus
- You have excellent skills in Figma
- You have experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement
- You can leverage research, wireframes and prototypes to effectively validate and enhance your design concepts to achieve the best possible solutions for your users
- You thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and you value being on a diverse team to brainstorm and get feedback from within a large organization
- You practice active listening and contribute in group situations, like brainstorms, audits, critiques, and whiteboard sessions
- You get excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and are resilient in the face of obstacles
