About the Role

We are seeking a curious, driven, and analytical university student to join our P&H analytics team as an intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the life & health insurance and healthcare space. You will collaborate with actuaries, data scientists, healthcare professionals, and business stakeholders to support initiatives that help people live healthier, longer, and better lives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support exploratory data analysis and modelling efforts related to health and claims data.
  • Support the design and development of customer-facing dashboards
  • Conduct research on emerging ageing & healthcare topics
  • Support the enrichment of healthcare provider dataset
  • Conduct proof-of-concept projects using large language models and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • University students in relevant fields (e.g. Actuarial, Maths, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Public Health)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Prior exposure to research or healthcare-related topics is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
