Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Responsible Officer (Type 1 Dealing in Securities) with a strong track record in HKEX Market Making. The successful candidate will oversee market-making operations, ensure regulatory compliance, support robust risk management, and contribute to business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee market making activities and ensure compliance with SFC and HKEX regulations.
- Provide strategic input on trading systems, market-making strategies, and operational readiness.
- Mentor junior staff to enhance efficiency and expertise.
- Strengthen risk management and internal control frameworks across market-making and proprietary trading.
- Conduct internal audits, streamline workflows, and update policies in line with regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Licensed Responsible Officer (Type 1) under Hong Kong SFC.
- Hands-on experience in HKEX Market Making operations.
- Strong knowledge of SFC regulatory framework and HKEX rules.
- Expertise in risk management, trading systems, and operational oversight.
- Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
