About the role
Reporting to the department head, you will oversee the development, implementation, and operation of data and reporting platforms, ensuring business stakeholders have timely, actionable insights to make informed decisions. The role drives data strategy, day-to-day BI operations, and is key in defining, delivering, and optimizing enterprise data systems and platforms. This role is responsible for developing and managing data and reporting platforms that provide stakeholders with actionable insights to guide business decisions. The incumbent drives the data strategy, oversees day-to-day BI operations, and ensures enterprise data systems are optimized. In addition, the role partners with internal teams to establish data standards, foster innovation, and improve overall business outcomes through strategic use of data and AI. Producing documentation, analyzing business challenges, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders are key components of this position.
The successful applicant
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 9+ years of experience required
- Proven ability to anticipate customer needs and future, emerging trends and to articulate a vision and strategy that motivate others to action
- Proven ability to interpret and apply pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements
- Very strong technical skills in the areas of data solutions, data governance design and extensive experience with leading enterprise data warehouse technologies
- Proven track record in establishing strong customer relationships and delivering customer-focused solutions within a large IT enterprise
- Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members; demonstrated experience in leading a multifunctional team
- Good command in Chinese and English
