This prestigious MNC Retail conglomerate is looking for an SOC Automation Engineer with experience in SOAR and Automation to join its dynamic business here in Hong Kong. Your new role
- Collaborate with the SOC team and OpCo security teams to gather and analyze automation requirements.
- Design, propose, build, deploy, and maintain SOAR playbooks using Microsoft Sentinel SOAR.
- Ensure seamless integration of automation workflows across ASW and OpCo environments.
- Assist the SOC team in managing and optimizing the Jira ticketing system.
- Support the SOC Innovation and Delivery team in broader SOC optimization and transformation initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SC-200, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate) are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Sentinel SOAR, Microsoft Defender XDR, Jira, Other equivalent security automation and orchestration tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and regions.
- Solid project management capabilities to drive initiatives from concept to deployment.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese is a requirement.
