Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking bank, is seeking a
Head of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) to lead the strategic design and execution of total rewards programs across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role, ideal for a seasoned C&B professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about driving organizational performance through innovative reward strategies.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the development and implementation of compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business goals and market best practices.
- Oversee annual compensation cycles, including salary reviews, bonus planning, and long-term incentive programs.
- Drive C&B analytics and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Partner with senior leadership, HRBPs, and external consultants to advise on reward structures, executive compensation, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage benefits programs, vendor relationships, and policy governance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing C&B team.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP) is a plus.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong and regional C&B practices, regulatory frameworks, and market trends.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing executive compensation and incentive plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is required.
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly preferred.
