Business Function Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
Responsibilities - Strategic thinking - actively contribute to the overall business strategy and overseeing and executing product strategies with respect to the development, business management, risk mitigation and commercialization of the fund services products;
- Conduct product planning, product lifecycle management, and marketing to support Securities Services' overall strategy and goals;
- Ensuring that suite of products are appropriate and positioned in alignment with business and segment strategies and benchmarked against market offerings;
- Identify gaps in the service offering and support development of a clear product roadmap for enhancements and expansions through understanding market trends, competition and environment;
- Capitalize on product differentiation and commercialize on such opportunities by building a unique position for potential and/or existing clients;
- Innovation of new products, capitalizing on changes to regulatory environment, market regulations/infrastructure, market practices or through synergies with other product groups;
- Develop market sizing, segment value propositions;
- Act as a product specialist to the business regarding the scope of approved product suite, accountable for client product satisfaction and product engagement;
- Complete and coordinate the new product approval process to ensure that products adhere to the appropriate bank governance and that any risks have been properly considered/mitigated;
- Provide RFP support as required including on-site participation during clients' due diligence, new client meetings, etc.;
- Ensure adequate product knowledge and training to sales, relationship management and operational teams;
- Preparation of product collaterals, FAQs, etc.;
- Alliance and partner management;
- Interpret and analyze product performance, analyze data and other MIS.
Requirements: - Degree holder in Business Administration, Financial Accounting or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in Custody and Fund Administration Product environment
- Solid experience in custody & Fund Services Product and Operations
- Sound knowledge in local and global custody, fund administration requirements and securities & cash markets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter
- Strong project management skill
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in English and Mandarin
