About the role
Reporting to the department head, you will develop robust technology strategies and plans that advance business priorities and enable digital transformation. Lead efforts to identify, deploy, and optimize modern technologies such as AI, IoT, and data ecosystems to deliver measurable value to the organization. Guide the professional growth and performance of team members, promoting a collaborative and forward-thinking culture. Direct IT project portfolios, providing support and oversight to ensure successful and timely project completion in line with business goals. Present technology plans and updates to executives, ensuring alignment and transparency across departments. Foster ongoing collaboration within and beyond the technology function to ensure unified project implementation. Lastly, drive best practices in areas such as artificial intelligence, DevOps, and cloud service management.
The successful applicants
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Recognized certifications in project or IT management are advantageous
- 12 years of IT leadership experience, with proven results in technology adoption and transformation.
- Strong grasp of advanced technologies, including AI, IoT, data lakes, and related modern solutions.
- Highly effective leadership and team development skills, with an ability to motivate and mentor employees.
- Strong project management track record and analytical skills, including budget management proficiency.
- Rapidly enhance AI skills and DevOps capabilities across the department and drive adoption of AI-assisted productivity tools.
- Establish clear policies for cloud services, support group-wide AI governance, and simplify technical processes in security and operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with professional competence in both English and Chinese
