The Customer Service Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs for our customer service representatives. The goal is to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team to provide exceptional service to our clients in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Training Development:
  • Design and create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules tailored to the insurance industry.
  • Develop comprehensive training decks for various programs, ensuring clarity and engagement.
  • Update training content regularly to reflect changes in policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Conduct Training Sessions:
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions (in-person and virtual) for new hires and ongoing staff development.
  • Use various instructional techniques and formats (role-playing, simulations, group activities) to enhance learning.
Performance Evaluation:
  • Assess trainee performance through evaluations, feedback, and assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to trainees to improve their customer service skills.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and gaps in knowledge.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure training programs are relevant.
Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback.
  • Prepare reports on training outcomes and effectiveness.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in training or instructional design is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Proficient in using training software and tools.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners.
