Our client is a major global financial institution who is seeking for a Client Services professional at VP or Director level for its Securities Services team in Hong Kong. The role will manage a portfolio of clients across APAC — including sovereign middle office outsourcing, trustee, fund administration etc — and ensure seamless inbound and outbound cross-border servicing and exceptional institutional client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary relationship owner for a portfolio of high-value Asset Owner clients; maintain and deepen strategic relationships.
- Oversee service delivery for custody, fund administration, and reporting with accountability for operational excellence and client satisfaction.
- Trusted advisor: proactively respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and recommend service improvements.
- Handle escalations and initiatives: lead resolution of complex queries and drive strategic, solutions-focused projects.
- Cross-border coordination: work closely with teams in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and regional offices to support inbound and outbound flows.
- Client lifecycle management: lead onboarding, engagement, and continuous improvement aligned with global standards.
- Performance monitoring: track KPIs and client feedback to identify and implement service enhancements.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 8 years in Securities Services, Custody, or Institutional Client Servicing within banking.
- Demonstrated experience managing Asset Owner relationships, preferably across APAC.
- Solid knowledge of cross-border investment operations and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Languages: fluent English and Mandarin; Cantonese advantageous.
- Core competencies: client-centric mindset, strong problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and escalation management.
