My client is hiring for a VP within well-established banking institutions in Hong Kong, focused on regulatory reporting. They offer a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to the preparation and review of HKMA submissions, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review HKMA banking returns, surveys, and other regulatory submissions.
- Act as both preparer and reviewer to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments and head office to validate data and support audits.
- Monitor regulatory changes and drive process improvements.
- Lead or support a small team depending on the role.
Ideal Candidates:
- 8-10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of HKMA requirements and banking products.
- Proven experience in both preparation and review of regulatory reports.
- Leadership experience preferred for the team head role.
- Proficiency in Excel and regulatory systems; bilingual in English and Chinese.
