Key Responsibilities:

  • Trading & Execution:

    • Independently manage a proprietary trading book focused on credit and structured products.
    • Execute trades for institutional clients, ensuring best execution and alignment with client mandates.
    • Monitor market developments and identify trading opportunities across global credit markets.
  • Product Coverage:

    • Trade a broad range of credit instruments including corporate bonds, CDS, structured credit, and emerging market debt.
    • Stay abreast of product innovation and regulatory developments impacting credit markets.
  • Client Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and private banks.
    • Provide market insights, trade ideas, and liquidity solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Risk & Compliance:

    • Maintain strict adherence to internal risk limits and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure robust governance and control frameworks.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:

    • Work closely with sales, research, and structuring teams to deliver integrated solutions.
    • Mentor junior traders and contribute to the development of desk strategy.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in FICC trading, with a strong focus on credit and structured products.
  • Proven track record of managing risk and generating consistent P&L.
  • Deep understanding of credit markets, pricing models, and trade execution.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
