Your new company A top-tier financial institution is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead its Project Management team within the Post Trade Division. This strategic role will oversee the planning and execution of major transformation initiatives across post-trade functions, including clearing, settlement, collateral management, and risk infrastructure.
Your new role - Lead the planning and execution of large-scale transformation programmes across post-trade services, including clearing, settlement, collateral management, and risk systems.
- Drive the implementation of next-generation platforms, including data warehouse, client portals, and risk engines, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, market participants, and technology partners to deliver modular and scalable solutions supporting multiple asset classes.
- Oversee project governance, budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Champion operational efficiency by digitizing manual processes and integrating legacy systems into streamlined, secure platforms.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership and steering committees.
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related disciplines; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within financial services or market infrastructure.
- Proven track record in delivering complex transformation programmes, ideally in post-trade operations or clearing and settlement environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
