Overview
A well-known financial institution is looking for a trade support associate to join their growing business. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in trade support and middle office within financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire trade process, including capturing trades, reconciling transactions, managing corporate actions etc
- Support trading desks by investigating discrepancies and resolving issues or questions related to trade bookings and breaks
- Direct support to traders regarding and trading issues
- Ensure proper handling of settlement issues and reconcile trades to prevent failures
- Analyze and resolve trade exceptions promptly, and address inquiries from clients and trading desks
- Create reports on trade activities and issues, escalating important matters as needed
- Participate in special projects, collaborating with teams across functions and globally
- Work with colleagues to develop reporting methods that support new products and business initiatives.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in a middle office or trade support role in a financial institution
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure
