Our client is one of the leading financial institutions in Hong Kong, providing financial services for trading, securities, and derivatives across different asset classes.
The role involves leading the implementation of IT projects and driving application development initiatives within Trade Systems. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced IT professional with a strong track record in delivering mission-critical applications, particularly on Linux-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks throughout the system development life cycle, including system design, analysis, development, code review, documentation, and other development support activities for Trade Systems.
- Coordinate with other IT teams, business users, and vendors for testing and system implementation.
- Provide production maintenance and support, including preventive maintenance for production systems, regular patch management, security scanning, vulnerability risk assessments, and implementation of mitigation measures.
- Support various ad-hoc development and testing activities.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10+ years application/ system development experience in Java.
- Solid knowledge in Linux, Database, CI/CD and Cloud technologies.
- Experience in OpenAPI and application security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, etc.) is preferred
- Experience with user coordination and vendor management.
