Job Responsibilities - Design and perform on-site and off-site inspection programs to ensure the adherence to internal and external procedures and guidelines
- Manage and monitor the operational activities of operations departments and branches to ensure smooth operation processes and adequate controls are in place
- Develop assessment indicators for branch operational management, conduct regular evaluation on branch operations, and provide guidance for improving branch operations quality
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to the department and branch operation staff, assist them in related assignments
- Review, revise and give comments on operations procedure manuals
- Implement risk related projects which can facilitate the risk management process for both branch and operational activities
Job Requirements - University graduates in Banking or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years' experience in risk management or setting up controls measures in branch operations and back office
- Experience in formulating the branch control checklist and conducting regular checking to ensure that the staff adheres to the branch operating procedures
- Good understanding on branch operational procedures, banking products and services
- Familiar with banking regulations and requirements, as well as the Bank's internal policy
- Good analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with strong risk control sense, able to work independently
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese, as well as good reporting and writing skills
- Candidate with project management experience is preferable
- Conversant with MS Office such as Word, Excel
