Our client (an established NBFI) is seeking a Trading Support Analyst to deliver first and second-line support for real-time trading platforms and market data systems. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a high-pressure trading environment, enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, and can communicate effectively across both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for front-office trading platforms used by internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Troubleshoot front-end trading issues and assist with client onboarding processes.
  • Support exchange reporting functions and assist in regulatory and compliance audits.
  • Administer user and account setups, including position limits and risk approvals.
  • Monitor and manage system outages, ensuring timely execution of client trades.
  • Act as a liaison between technology teams and business units to communicate system updates and changes effectively.
  • Evaluate manual processes (e.g., reporting) and propose automation solutions.
  • Perform manual trade bookings when required.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards under the SFC and internal risk control frameworks.
Shift Coverage
  • Standard coverage between 6:30 AM – 9:00 PM (8.5-hour shifts, Monday–Friday).
  • Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday support may be required.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience supporting front-end trading platforms (e.g., Fidessa, TT, Stellar, CQG, WebICE, CME Direct).
  • Exposure to global exchanges such as ICE, CME, and Eurex.
  • At least 1 year of experience with exchange connectivity in derivatives, commodities, cash, or equities.
  • Strong skills in SQL/database queries and Excel, particularly for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Minimum 6 months hands-on experience with the FIX messaging protocol.
  • Proven experience in client onboarding for FIX and proprietary API connections.
  • Solid understanding of regulated trading environments, including risk and compliance best practices.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic electronic trading environment.
