Our client, a leading insurance company in Hong Kong, is seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Digital Business Analyst to join their team on a 12-month renewable contract. This role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Immediate candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to gather, analyze, and document digital business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for development teams.
- Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for new digital initiatives.
- Support the design and implementation of digital platforms, including mobile apps, online platform, CRM, and automation tools.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, QA, and project managers to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor digital KPIs and provide insights to optimize performance and user engagement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
Requirements of the Role:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
