Sales & Marketing - Buyside / Institutional Sales/ Fund Sales
Responsibility :
- Work closely with the Head of sales in the development and implementation of the institutional sales strategy to ensure that it is in line with sales plan.
- Expand and enhance existing relationships. Understanding each clients unique demands and assist in clients queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively develop and establish new relationships with prospect, initiating discussions with prospect clients to identify their strategic and tactical goals.
- Coordinate with Portfolio Managers on material with client pitches and/or roadshows.
- Proactively prepare and review with management on progress towards sales strategy, including tracking key contact information and meeting notes using the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates on market and prospects to support the new business development strategy.
Requirement :
- University graduate with at 5+ years of financial product sales experience. CFA preferred.
- Prior experience in the asset management industry is preferred.
- Knowledge on mutual funds and asset management industry
- Strong track record of achieving successful results in an investment solutions/investment consulting/sales function
- Ability to drive new business development opportunities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong language proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
- Positive work attitude, good team player but able to work independently and under pressure
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and energetic
