Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project objectives, scope, major workstreams, and integrated timelines. Establish key milestones, dependencies, and maintain rigorous change control.
  • Establish the project organization, governance framework, and regular reporting cycles to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • Design future-state business architecture, operating models, and implementation roadmaps. Conduct strategic studies (e.g., build vs. buy) and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Lead business requirement gathering, design integrated solutions, develop business cases, and define implementation approaches, including POC/pilot programs.
  • Develop risk assessment frameworks, maintain risk registers, and perform change impact analyses. Establish a robust change management strategy.
  • Track project status, risks, and issues. Prepare and present regular summaries to steering committees and project sponsors.
Requirements:
  • A university degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications (PMP, Six Sigma) are preferred.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a business project/PMO lead, with a background in top-tier consulting.
  • Proven track record in running sizable projects, with a strong understanding of business operations in Mainland China.
  • Experience in digital transformation is highly desirable. An understanding of AI tools in project management is a plus.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is required.
