Our client, a leading enterprise company based in Hong Kong, is seeking a talented and experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture, working collaboratively across teams to enable scalable, secure, and innovative platforms.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Lead the design and deployment of enterprise-wide cloud solutions leveraging AWS services and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Define and promote architectural standards and best practices for cloud adoption and containerization strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development, and operations teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
- Architect and deploy microservices-based applications on Kubernetes clusters ensuring high availability and resilience.
- Guide infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, CI/CD pipeline development, and automation to streamline deployments and operations.
- Evaluate emerging cloud and container technologies to innovate and improve enterprise platforms.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership on AWS and Kubernetes best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements within cloud and container environments.
- Develop architectural documentation, roadmaps, and governance models.
Required Skills for the Role:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, scaling, security, and monitoring. Hands-on experience with Helm, Operators, and service meshes such as Istio.
- Proven ability to design and deploy microservices ecosystems, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM policies, network security, and Kubernetes RBAC.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across both technical and non-technical teams.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), would be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
