Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading billion dollar L/S Equity Single CIO Hedge fund in Hong Kong to source for an analyst focused on the Industrials sector. The firm invests in TMT, Healthcare, Industrials, and Financials sectors across China, India, and Korea.
The team invests with a concentrated, high conviction approach with no more than 50 names in the portfolio at one time. A few core long holdings have been in the book since inception.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of equity research/IBD experience followed by 3+ years of equity investment experience at a LO asset manager or a L/S Equity hedge fund
- Market-neutral investors looking to transition and focus on multi-year horizon ideas are welcomed to apply
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Korean is required
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial modeling and financial statements
- Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
- Self-starter; ability to manage own investment process and priorities
