Manager, Business Analysis – Global Insurer
Our client, a prominent insurer with a strong regional presence, is seeking a BA Manager to join their transformation and delivery team. This is a strategic role overseeing a team of business analysts, supporting key initiatives across sales enablement platforms and new business processing systems.
As a core member of cross-functional delivery teams, the successful candidate will drive analysis excellence, ensure business/IT alignment, and manage resource planning across mission-critical projects.
This role is initially offered as a contract position,with a strong view to extension or conversion to a permanent position.
In this role as an BA Manager , you will be responsible for the following:-

- Lead and mentor a team of business analysts working across digital onboarding and policy issuance initiatives
- Analyze and validate business problems, translate requirements, and collaborate with IT and user stakeholders to develop effective solutions
- Support product launch workgroups and ensure system readiness and delivery coordination
- Plan, prioritise, and manage pipeline enhancements in line with business goals
- Manage assigned projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables
- Proactively identify and escalate risks or issues to ensure programme stability
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive consensus and clarity
To be considered for this role as an BA Manager , you possess the following:-

- University degree in Business, IT, or related discipline.
- At least 6-8 years of hands-on experience in the insurance industry, preferably within life insurance / operations sector
- Demonstrated experience in leading business analysts or BA teams
- Familiarity with sales support systems, new business, or underwriting platforms in an insurance context
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
- Proven project management experience in a fast-paced or change-driven environment
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Experience with Lean methodologies, digital transformation, or product development will be advantageous
