Job Description:

This role in Multinational Bank regional Communications, Marketing and Corporate Affairs team involves working with a fast-paced team, as you help drive Brand Marketing Programs across the franchise. You will partner with senior marketing and business leaders across a multi asset platform to deliver integrated marketing plans that will help position and drive business growth. The successful candidate will focus on rapidly developing BofAs presence and reputation, commensurate with its position as one of the worlds largest and fastest growing financial institutions. They will bring new ideas, work on innovative programs, and play a role across both regional and international marketing teams where relevant.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, develop, and deliver innovative, high impact marketing programs:
  • Support client engagement through key new and inspiring marketing initiatives.
  • Execute marketing programs across countries, segments, and channels to maximum impact.
  • Use data in all its forms to optimize programs in real time.
  • Ensure activation of bank programs across all channels by working closely with colleagues in other teams internationally and globally, including Communications, Events and other client facing functions.
  • Capture and report on marketing initiatives, run approvals, and ensure compliance in the increasingly regulated marketing landscape.
  • Help coordinate and utilize the regional marketing team and agency partners (internal and external) at your disposal.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the region at all levels
  • Align with global marketing counterparts to leverage and partner across marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Market effectively within a risk management framework, with compliance and operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • At least 10 years of integrated marketing experience with a strong track record at a leading multinational financial institution or securities firm.
  • Undergraduate degree from a recognized leading university.
  • Strong executive presence and excellent English language skills, as required in a regional role.
  • Possess deep B2B marketing (positioning, messaging, branding, advertising, digital and events), analytical and technical expertise within global banking.
  • Solid track record in planning and managing budgets, whilst integrating the overall effort with business stakeholders, events and communication leads with knowledge of the key Asia Pacific market hubs.
  • Strong interpersonal acumen, clear communication skills and the ability to ‘influence.

  • Able to operate in a high-functioning, matrixed organization, building consensus and ensuring compliance with global standards.
  • The role is based in Hong Kong and reports into the Regional Head of Communications, Marketing & Corporate Affairs.

Critical Competencies:

  • Expertise delivering marketing activity/programs with a focus on digital, with ongoing tracking and monitoring.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end marketing process, and ability to take ownership of relevant tasks to achieve this.
  • Experience delivering content-driven marketing (such as business insights) across a range of mediums including video and online.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working across multiple geographies; understanding of the differences (regulatory and cultural) between the APAC financial markets
